I liked being near the bay and water but not in a place where people would go to the beach or travel to. It wasn't a destination point. No beach right here and no boat ramps or surfing spots so it was calm and possible to park near where you live. This weekend coming is Labor Day and so Cal will get really busy. I didn't know how good I had it here until I had to leave. Well, I did know actually but didn't really know just how much more difficult it really is to live some areas where there are people constantly arriving in your neighborhood. Without a garage you're trapped. And the noise. People talking and music right at your bedroom windows...
