Encouraging the youth (My Review)

God’s Word reminds us that nothing can separate us from the love of God (Romans 8: 35 –39). The Apostle Paul also states in 2 Corinthians 12: 7 – 10 that, God allowed a “Thorn in his flesh” to keep him humble and dependent on divine grace.
There are times when we pray earnestly for God to take away certain trials, yet He allows them to remain for reasons beyond our understanding. When that happens, how do you cope? Do you become discouraged or do you continue to put your faith in Him?
Do not let your trials as a youth to distract you from your trust and commitment to God. Life on this earth is just short. The day we close our eyes in death, everything we once thought was important will fade away. What will be left is what we did for God and eternity.
Remember, there is a heaven prepared for all who faithfully serve God. Therefore, let the things that are of eternal value have first place in your life. This world is fallen and imperfect but God has set for us a better place, and there we will have it all.
