Jesus demonstrated the highest form of love by sacrificing His life for us while we were yet sinners. Therefore, our love for others should not be based on emotion, convenience or personal preference but on the example of Jesus’ unconditional and sacrificial love.
This is the true label of Christianity. As the Word of God reminds us in Galatians 6: 9 – 10 that we must Do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
We are expected to renew our dedication to love and care for one another, for that is the command and the identity our Lord gave us.
