God desires peace, love, and tranquillity rather than conflict residing in our midst. God pardons us in our areas of shortcomings . He anticipates that we would also pardon other people for their own transgressions and failings. He provided a positive example for us to emulate.

This should be how we model our lives, even though it can be uneasy at times. It is not beneficial for us to choose not to forgive. God taught that if we come before Him while harbouring animosity toward others, we should first go and settle our malice before coming back to Him, which may be the reason why our prayers are occasionally impeded.

We are not following Jesus Christ in properly if we do not extend forgiveness to others. In a sense, we don't care about people around the world because most of them don't think it not wrong to be unforgiving. However, it is completely flawed in the Christianity context.
