El día de hoy les traigo una manualidad muy fácil y sencilla que se me ocurrió hace bastante tiempo, pero que no me había decidido a hacer, no es algo súper novedoso pero es una idea que se me ocurrió para reciclar ♻️ los sobrantes de foami que siempre quedan y que me da mucha lastima botar.
>Today I’m sharing a really easy craft with you that I came up with quite a while ago but hadn’t gotten around to making yet. It’s not exactly groundbreaking, but it’s an idea I came up with to recycle ♻️ those foam scraps that are always left over and that I feel bad throwing away.
La idea es sencilla una lata de cualquier embutido que consuman en casa, retazos de foami de los colores que tengan y silicón simplemente eso, con estos materiales se puede forrar una lata a nuestro gusto, pero yo quería simular algo así como baldosas o cerámicas, no sé si me doy a entender, quería que el diseño quedara como si fuesen baldosas de colores pegadas en una pared 🧱 en mi cabeza se veía súper bien 🤭 le doy gracias a Dios que el resultado no me decepcionó porque no es primera vez que se me ocurren algo que en mi cabeza se ve genial y cuando intento hacerlo la realidad es completamente distinta.
>The idea is simple: a can of any kind of sausage you eat at home, scraps of foam in whatever colors you have, and silicone—that’s it. With these materials, you can cover a can however you like, but I wanted to make it look like tiles or ceramic, I don’t know if I’m making myself clear—I wanted the design to look like colorful tiles stuck to a wall 🧱. In my head, it looked amazing 🤭. I thank God the result didn’t disappoint me, because it’s not the first time I’ve come up with something that looks great in my head, but when I try to do it, the reality is completely different.
Les adelanto que el proceso es bastante lento hay que tener paciencia al pegar cada pieza, pero el resultado es muy hermoso, bueno por lo menos a mí me encantó, pero sin más preámbulo los dejo con la lista de materiales y el paso a paso, espero que lo disfruten y se animen a hacerlo. 🥰
>I’ll warn you up front that the process is pretty slow—you’ll need to be patient as you glue each piece—but the result is absolutely beautiful. Well, at least I loved it! ✨Paso a paso|Step-by-step✨
Lo primero que hice fue picar los cuadrados de los tres colores que decidí usar, rosado, morado y turquesa, sí, los colores de mi marca 🥰 porque amo la combinación de esos tres colores ❤️ los cuadrados tienen una medida de 2cm x 2cm aproximadamente, también pique unas tiras de foami blanco para simular los azulejos de las baldosas estás tiras tienen un ancho de Medio centímetro.
>The first thing I did was cut out squares in the three colors I decided to use: pink, purple, and turquoise—yes, my brand’s colors 🥰—because I love the combination of those three colors ❤️. The squares measure approximately 2 cm x 2 cm. I also cut some strips of white foam to simulate the tiles; these strips are half a centimeter wide.
El siguiente paso fue comenzar a pegar las piezas a la lata, comencé por una tira blanca está tira la pegue con silicón caliente porque necesitaba que el pegado fuese rápido.
>The next step was to start gluing the pieces to the can. I started with a white strip; I glued this strip on with hot glue because I needed it to set quickly.
Luego comencé a pegar cada cuadrado el patrón es así, un cuadrado morado una pieza blanca, un cuadrado rosado, otra pieza blanca y un cuadrado turquesa y otra pieza blanca, luego segui el mismo patrón hasta completar la primera vuelta. Como pueden ver pique pequeños trozos de las piezas blancas para hacer la división entre cuadrado y cuadrado. Este paso es bastante tedioso y requiere de mucha paciencia les recomiendo que usen silicón líquido para pegar los cuadrados y las piezas pequeñas de foami blanco para poder colocar las piezas en el lugar deseado más fácilmente, recuerden que el silicón caliente seca muy rápido y no permite mover las piezas en caso de que las hallamos pegado mal.
>Then I started gluing each square in place. The pattern goes like this: a purple square, a white piece, a pink square, another white piece, a turquoise square, and another white piece. I continued following the same pattern until I completed the first row. As you can see, I cut small slits in the white pieces to create a separation between each square. This step is quite tedious and requires a lot of patience. I recommend using liquid silicone to glue the squares and the small white foam pieces so you can place the pieces in the desired spot more easily. Remember that hot silicone dries very quickly and doesn’t allow you to move the pieces if you’ve glued them in the wrong place.
Luego coloque otra tira blanca encima de la prima fila de cuadrados y así continúe hasta terminar de forrar toda la lata.
>Then place another white strip on top of the first row of squares, and continue in this way until you have completely covered the can.
Y este fue el resultado final, lo que hice fue ir intercalando el orden de los colores primero era morado, rosado, turquesa y luego en la segunda fila turquesa rosado y morado, y así fuí intercalando los colores hasta llegar a la última fila, como todo lo que se hace por prime vez tengo que mejorarlo, hacerle un mejor acabado, pero me gustó mucho el resultado, amo la combinación de colores y lo hermoso que quedó al forarlo con este tipo de diseño, al final logré el propósito reciclar no solo una lata sino también esos retazos de foami que me da mucha pena botar.
>And this was the final result. What I did was alternate the order of the colors: first it was purple, pink, and turquoise, and then in the second row, turquoise, pink, and purple. I kept alternating the colors like that until I reached the last row. Like anything you do for the first time, I need to improve it and give it a better finish, but I really liked the result. I love the color combination and how beautiful it turned out when I covered it with this design. In the end, I achieved my goal of recycling not only a can but also those foam scraps that I feel so bad throwing away.
