Últimamente no he tenido mucho tiempo para dibujar e estado más concentrada en hacer manualidades, pero intento no descuidar el dibujo ya que como lo he dicho muchas veces, la clave para mejorar es practicar todos los días o por lo menos se bastante constante.
>Lately, I haven't had much time to draw—I've been focusing more on crafts—but I try not to neglect drawing because, as I've said many times, the key to improving is to practice every day, or at least to be pretty consistent.
El día de hoy quiero compartir con todos ustedes un dibujo que no me gustó mucho como quedo y que por eso había decidido no compartirlo, pero luego recordé que unos de mis propósitos aquí en Hive es dejar un registro de mi proceso y eso quiere decir que no solo voy a compartir los dibujos que me queden bien sino los que no me quedan tan bien y así poder ir viendo poco a poco mi progreso.

But then I remembered that one of my goals here on Hive is to document my process, which means I’m going to share not only the drawings I’m happy with but also the ones I’m not so happy with, so I can see my progress little by little.
Hace tiempo quería dibujar una casa ya que casi siempre dibujo personajes de Disney, flores o partes del rostro, pero creo que nunca dibujo objetos y quise intentar dibujar una casa, busque una imagen de referencia en Pinterest y me puse manos a la obra, pero ya sin más charla los dejo con el paso a paso de esta práctica.
>I’ve wanted to draw a house for a while now, since I almost always draw Disney characters, flowers, or facial features, but I don’t think I ever draw objects, so I wanted to try drawing a house. I looked for a reference image on Pinterest and got to work. But without further ado, here’s the step-by-step guide for this exercise.

✨Paso a paso|Step-by-step✨
Comencé haciendo el boceto de la casita, el techo, la chimenea, luego la pared de el frente, las ventanas y la puerta, sin hacer detalles solo ubicando cada cosa en su lugar. Me gustó mucho esta casita porque es como una casita de campo y me pareció muy bonita. Decidí hacerlo todo al ojo porciento 🤭 sin medida ni nada, para la próxima intentaré hacerla con medidas me imagino que el resultado será genial.
>I started by sketching the little house, the roof, the chimney, then the front wall, the windows, and the door—without adding any details, just placing each element where it belonged. I really liked this little house because it’s like a country cottage, and I thought it was very pretty. I decided to do it all by eye 🤭 without any measurements or anything; next time I’ll try making it with measurements—I imagine the result will be great.
Luego hice los detalles de las ventanas y la escalera, ame dibujar la escalera creo que nunca lo había intentado y me gustó como quedó.
>Then I worked on the details of the windows and the staircase. I loved drawing the staircase—I don't think I'd ever tried it before, and I really liked how it turned out.
Luego comencé a hacer el techo, otra de las razones por las que elegí está casa es por el nivel de detalles que tiene, me encanta ese techo de tejas y quería intentar que me quedara igual, claro tomando en cuenta a qué lo hice a lápiz y no con lapices de colores, al final no siento haberlo logrado y por eso no lo quería compartir, pero para ser la primera vez que lo intento siento que no está mal.
>Then I started working on the roof. Another reason I chose this house is because of the level of detail it has. I love that tile roof and wanted to try to make mine look just like it—though, of course, I had to take into account that I was drawing it in pencil rather than with colored pencils. In the end, I don’t feel like I quite pulled it off, which is why I didn’t want to share it, but for a first attempt, I think it’s not bad.
Lo mismo me pasó con las demás partes de la casa, intenté hacer cada textura, pero siento que no lo logré, mi intención con compartirlo es también desahogarme un poco porque la verdad sentí mucha frustración al hacer este dibujo, a veces soy muy dura conmigo misma y quiero que las cosas me salgan perfectas desde la primera vez, otra cosa que debo aprender es que los dibujos se hacen con paciencia, está la verdad es que lo hice súper rápido y no es lo correcto.
>The same thing happened with the other parts of the house; I tried to capture every texture, but I feel like I didn't quite pull it off. My intention in sharing this is also to vent a little because, honestly, I felt a lot of frustration while drawing this. Sometimes I’m too hard on myself and I want things to turn out perfect the first time. Another thing I need to learn is that drawing takes patience; the truth is, I did this way too fast, and that’s not the right way to go about it.
Y este fue el resultado como dice el título de mi post mejor hecho que perfecto, aunque no me quedo perfecto fue una buena práctica y eso es lo que realmente cuenta. 🥰❤️
