A veces con el afán de practicar y practicar olvidó que hay cositas lindas que quiero dibujar, mejor dicho olvido dibujar para mí, lo que me provoca dibujar y no lo que tengo que dibujar para aprender, claro está que a veces me provoca dibujar algo que no sé hacer porque jamás lo he dibujado, entonces está vez dije ¿Porque no mato dos pájaros de un tiro?, No se preocupen ningún pájaro salió lastimado en esta práctica.🤣

Of course, sometimes I feel like drawing something I don’t know how to do because I’ve never drawn it before, so this time I said, “Why not kill two birds with one stone?” Don’t worry—no birds were harmed in this exercise. 🤣
Tenía ganas desde hace tiempo de dibujar un patito redeado de flores, pero como nunca había dibujado uno se me quitaban las ganas, pues está vez decidí hacerlo, así podía dibujar algo que quería desde hace tiempo pero al mismo tiempo practicaba y aprendía algo nuevo y así resultó este lindo dibujo, me gustó mucho aunque el concepto de rodeado de flores que tenía al principio no me salió muy bien, pues solo hice dos tulipanes 🤭 pero creo que es así como se empieza de a poco, ya más adelante lograré vaciar en la hoja lo que hay en mi cabeza. Y ya sin más preámbulo los dejo con el paso a paso de este lindo dibujo.
>I'd been wanting to draw a little duck surrounded by flowers for a while, but since I'd never drawn one before, I kept putting it off. So this time I decided to go for it, so I could draw something I’d wanted to do for a while while also practicing and learning something new. And that’s how this cute drawing turned out. I really liked it, even though the idea of having it surrounded by flowers that I had at first didn’t turn out very well—I only drew two tulips 🤭—but I think that’s how you start, little by little. Later on, I’ll be able to put what’s in my head onto the page. And without further ado, here’s the step-by-step guide for this cute drawing.
✨Paso a paso|Step-by-step✨
Para el boceto no quise hacer un paso a paso tan detallado, tal vez en otro dibujo, pero es que la verdad a veces siento que es muy monótono hacer todos los post de dibujo así, entonces para variar me fuí directo al boceto terminado, para este dibujo trate de distribuir bien los elementos en la hoja, creo que se llama composición, aún no profundizó mucho en eso, pero la cuestión es que los dibujos siempre me quedan mal centrados en la hoja y eso me frustra, pero al mismo tiempo no quiero borrar todo y termino dejandolo así, en esta ocasión coloqué bien cada elemento y le dí protagonismo al papito poniéndolo en el centro de la hoja y los tulipanes al lado.
>For this sketch, I didn’t want to do such a detailed step-by-step guide—maybe for another drawing—but the truth is, sometimes I feel like it’s really monotonous to do all my drawing posts that way, so for a change I went straight to the finished sketch. For this drawing, I tried to arrange the elements well on the page—I think that’s called composition—though I haven’t delved too deeply into that yet, but the thing is, my drawings always end up off-center on the page, and that frustrates me. At the same time, I don’t want to erase everything, so I end up leaving them that way. This time, I positioned each element correctly and made the little dad the focal point by placing him in the center of the page, with the tulips on either side.
Como pueden ver en la imagen estaba cometiendo el error de comenzar a sombrear el papito, había comenzado por los ojos y luego me di cuenta que cuando fuese a sombrear el tulipán 🌷 iba a dañar el papito con la mano, como soy diestra debo comenzar a sombrear o colorear los dibujo desde la izquierda hacia la derecha para así no dañar o manchar lo que ya sombree o coloree, bueno luego de percatarme de eso procedi a sombrear el tulipán 🌷 y para eso utilicé el lápiz 6B.
>As you can see in the picture, I was making the mistake of starting to shade the little man; I had started with the eyes, and then I realized that when I went to shade the tulip 🌷 I would smudge the little man with my hand. Since I’m right-handed, I have to start shading or coloring my drawings from left to right so I don’t smudge or mess up what I’ve already shaded or colored. Well, after realizing that, I proceeded to shade the tulip 🌷, and for that I used a 6B pencil.
Ahora sí fue el turno del patito, para él también utilicé el lápiz 6B, comencé con la carita porque siento que es lo más importante, sobre todo los ojos, porque siento que si la cara me sale bien entonces puedo continuar lo demás, pero si hago todo el sombreado y al final la cara me sale mal siento que perdí el tiempo, entonces me tomo el tiempo suficiente y con calma para la cara y luego sombreo las demás partes del cuerpo.
>Now it was the duckling’s turn. For him, I also used a 6B pencil. I started with the face because I feel like that’s the most important part—especially the eyes—since I believe that if I get the face right, then I can move on to the rest, but if I do all the shading and the face turns out wrong in the end, I feel like I’ve wasted my time. So I take my time and work calmly on the face first, and then I shade the rest of the body.
Para el segundo tulipán intenté algo diferente, use un lápiz 4B hasta el momento, no sé si soy fan del lápiz 6B siempre que trabajo con el siento que ensucia mucho el dibujo, así que probé con el 4B y me gustó más el resultado la verdad. Con el 4B siento que puedo definir mejor las zonas de luz del dibujo, pero al mismo tiempo consigo un buen tono de negro para las zonas oscuras y sin sentir que se ensucia toda la hoja. Al final de eso se trata la práctica, pues uno va probando que materiales se adaptan mejor a nosotros y a lo que queremos lograr.
>For the second tulip, I tried something different—I used a 4B pencil so far. I’m not sure if I’m a fan of the 6B pencil; whenever I work with it, I feel like it makes the drawing look too messy, so I tried the 4B and, to be honest, I liked the result better. With the 4B, I feel like I can better define the light areas of the drawing, but at the same time, I get a good shade of black for the dark areas without feeling like the whole sheet gets messy. In the end, that’s what practice is all about—you keep trying out different materials to see which ones work best for you and what you want to achieve.
Y este fue el resultado, la verdad me gustó mucho, dibujar lo que nos apetece de vez en cuando es muy motivador porque sueltas un poco la presión que lleva consigo la practica, dibujar para nosotros mismos es algo que nos hace más divertido el proceso de aprendizaje y nos ayuda a no olvidar porque comenzamos a dibujar en primer lugar, porque nos gusta, porque nos hace feliz y no solo por aprender y ya. 🥰🌷🦆🤭😘
>And this was the result—I really liked it a lot. Drawing whatever we feel like from time to time is very motivating because it helps relieve some of the pressure that comes with practicing. Drawing for ourselves makes the learning process more fun and helps us remember why we started drawing in the first place: because we like it, because it makes us happy, and not just to learn for the sake of learning. 🥰🌷🦆🤭😘
