Aquí estoy otra vez con otra de mis prácticas de dibujo y a diferencia del dibujo anterior, el de la casita, este sí me gustó mucho, lo disfrute mucho más y me encantó el resultado final, no sé si es porque amo dibujar flores y mariposas y es que mientras aprendo a dibujar diferentes cosas y técnicas intento también descubrir que es lo que me gusta dibujar más o que no me gusta dibujar tanto y hasta los momentos creo que lo que más me gusta dibujar son flores y seres vivos como animales y personas, pero creo que los objetos inertes, por decirlo de alguna manera no me apetece tanto dibujarlos, sin embargo aunque no me guste sé que es importante aprender a dibujarlos también.
>Here I am again with another one of my drawing exercises, and unlike the previous drawing—the one of the little house—I really liked this one. I enjoyed it much more, and I loved the final result. I don’t know if it’s because I love drawing flowers and butterflies, but as I learn to draw different things and techniques, I’m also trying to figure out what I like to draw the most or what I don’t enjoy drawing as much. So far, I think what I like to draw the most are flowers and living things like animals and people, but I feel like I don’t really feel like drawing inanimate objects, so to speak. however, even though I don’t like it, I know it’s important to learn how to draw them too.
Para esta prectica quise dibujar algo lindo, todavía no estoy lista para hacer dibujos con el fin de transmitir algún mensaje, pero al menos puedo incluir en un mismo dibujo elementos que me gusten, y pues dos cosas que me gustan son los girasoles y las mariposas, pero para hacer la práctica mucho más productiva decidí dibujar el girasol en una posición y perspectiva que no había dibujado antes y eso me gustó muchísimo, en cuanto a la mariposa no lo recuerdo bien, pero o creo que tampoco había dibujado una así, en fin fue una práctica súper productiva así que acompáñame a ver el paso a paso. 🥰
>For this exercise, I wanted to draw something pretty. I’m not quite ready yet to create drawings with a specific message, but at least I can include elements I like in a single drawing, and well, two things I like are sunflowers and butterflies. But to make the practice much more productive, I decided to draw the sunflower in a position and perspective I hadn’t drawn before, and I really liked that. As for the butterfly, I don’t remember well, but I don’t think I’d drawn one like that either. Anyway, it was a super productive practice, so join me to see the step-by-step. 🥰

Comencé dibujando el girasol, me gustó mucho este girasol porque da la impresión de estar comenzando a marchitarse por sus pétalos caídos, hice el pistilo, los pétalos, el tallo y la hoja, como se puede ver en este boceto use estructura para que me quedara bastante simétrico, todavía no me muy bien como estructurar todo, pero poco a poco estoy aprendiendo.
>I started by drawing the sunflower. I really liked this sunflower because its drooping petals give the impression that it’s starting to wilt. I drew the pistil, the petals, the stem, and the leaf. As you can see in this sketch, I used a grid to make it fairly symmetrical. I’m still not quite sure how to structure everything, but I’m learning little by little.
Del mismo modo hice la mariposa también utilizando unas sutiles líneas guías para estructurar, algo que me frustra un poco de las mariposas es hacer el diseño de las alas porque siempre quiero que me queden super lindas y me di cuenta que debo aprender a dibujar los diferentes tipos de especies de mariposas que existen, la verdad me he dado cuenta de que para aprender a dibujar bien hay que saber cosas, muchas cosas 🤭 no es solo practicar dibujo es aprender los distintos tipos de flores, de mariposas, de felinos de aves, etc y practicar dibujar cada uno por separado para aprender las características que diferencian una especie de otra y eso es fascinante pero al mismo tiempo un poco abrumador, pero vamos que puede.🥰
>I drew the butterfly the same way, using subtle guide lines to give it structure. One thing that frustrates me a bit about butterflies is designing the wings—I always want them to look absolutely beautiful—and I realized I need to learn how to draw the different species of butterflies that exist. Honestly, I’ve come to realize that to learn how to draw well, you have to know things—lots of things 🤭 It’s not just about practicing drawing; it’s about learning the different types of flowers, butterflies, felines, birds, etc., and practicing drawing each one separately to learn the characteristics that distinguish one species from another. That’s fascinating but at the same time a little overwhelming—but hey, I can do it. 🥰
Luego comencé a darle vida al girasol y está parte la disfrute muchísimo, ustedes saben que me gusta mucho el dibujo realista y que a veces llegan a mí pensamientos intrusivos intentando convercerme de que comencé muy tarde mi aprendizaje artístico y que debo resignarme a una técnica de dibujo sencilla porque el realismo requiere de mucha práctica, pero esos pensamientos no son más fuertes que mi deseo de hacer dibujos realistas, así que en esta práctica decidí seguir intentando y me esforcé muchísimo en el pistilo, me encantó porque por fin logré un poco de ese semi realismo que estaba buscando tanto en el pistilo como en los pétalos.
>Then I started bringing the sunflower to life, and I really enjoyed that part. You know I love realistic drawing, and sometimes intrusive thoughts come to me, trying to convince me that I started my artistic training too late and that I should settle for a simple drawing technique because realism requires a lot of practice. But those thoughts aren’t stronger than my desire to create realistic drawings, so in this exercise I decided to keep trying and put a lot of effort into the pistil. I loved it because I finally achieved a bit of that semi-realism I’d been searching for so much in both the pistil and the petals.
Con el tallo y la hoja también me esforcé, aunque no se note tanto 🤣 pero debo admitir que tengo que mejorar bastante, lo que siento es que me enfoco muchísimo en la flor en si, en qué me quedé perfecta y no le pongo el mismo empeño a las demás partes de la flor, lo admito.🤭
>I really tried my best with the stem and the leaf too, even though you can’t really tell 🤣, but I have to admit I still have a lot of room for improvement. I feel like I focus way too much on the flower itself—on making sure it looks perfect—and I don’t put the same effort into the other parts of the flower. I’ll admit it. 🤭
Y luego fue turno de la hermosa mariposa, y no tengo mucho que decir sobre ella salvo que necesito un video de YouTube donde me enseñen a dibujar una mariposa a lápiz que me quede realista porque la verdad no lo he logrado hasta ahora, pero vamos que se puede. 🥰✏️
>Then it was the beautiful butterfly's turn, and I don't have much to say about it except that I need a YouTube video to teach me how to draw a realistic butterfly in pencil—because honestly, I haven't managed to do it yet, but I'm sure I can. 🥰✏️
Aún así ame este resultado, quedé bastante satisfecha y me gustó practicar con algo que quería dibujar, porque sí, las prácticas se me hacen más fáciles cuando dibujo algo que me gusta mucho o algo que me apetece en el momento dibujar.
>Even so, I loved this result. I was pretty happy with it, and I enjoyed practicing with something I wanted to draw—because, honestly, practicing comes easier to me when I draw something I really like or something I feel like drawing at the moment.
