Acá en Venezuela está agrupación "pegaba" las canciones en radio y tv una detrás de la otra. Es muy apropiado entonarla en este momento que estamos en época de vacaciones escolares en Venezuela aunque la capacidad económica necesaria para ir a la playa aunque sea solo un día está fuera del alcance de la gran mayoría de la población.
El año escolar en Venezuela comienza alrededor del 15 de septiembre y se extiende hasta alrededor del 15 de julio.del año siguiente. Otra peculiaridad de ese año escolar es el color de las camisas del estudiantado:
Los niños de preescolar pueden usar una franela o una chemisse de color amarillo, azul o rojo y un mono azul marino. Los de la escuela básica desde primero hasta sexto grado llevan camisa o chemisse blanca, los primeros tres años de Bachillerato, la camisa de tela o chemisse es de color azul claro y posteriormente, en los últimos dos años se usa de color beige o "café con leche" ’
Por otro lado, las vacaciones que antes eran el momento de ir a la playa, a la montaña o a visitar a familiares lejanos, ahora no permiten más que estar en casa, quizá viendo tv - si acaso hay luz.
Se bromea - sí, aún broneamos - y se hacen juegos del palabra del tipo "Pasaré mis vacaciones en Punto Fijo", "Yo me iré a Playa Seca". "Yo me voy en un crucero, estaré cruzando de la cocina a la sala y de la sala al baño"
De todas formas, en las vacaciones, se logra tener actividades distintas a las usuales,se rompe con la rutina.
Cuando se puso de moda esta canción en Venezuela, tendría yo unos 8 ó 9 años y en esa época la riqueza melódica que nos rodeaba era espectacular, la calidad de las melodías, la poesía de las. letras. Era una época signada por grandes intérpretes tanto a nivel nacional como internacional.

Y nos maravilla ban del exterior Raphael , Sandro, Tom Jones, Miriam Makeba, Piero, Jairo, Blanca Rosa Gil, Olga Guillot, Celia Cruz, el grupo Chicago, Kansas, José Feliciano, La Orquesta Aragón, Cortijo y su Combo, el Gran Combo de Puerto Rico,
Juan Gabriel en sus inicios con su "No tengo dinero" y en la tv - en blanco y negro - La Señorita Cometa, Daktari, Flipper, Maya, Bonanza, Guardianes de la Bahía, Meteoro, Cool mac Cool, Magila Gorila, El Monstruo Milton. Don Gato y su pandilla. Sin olvidar a la Familia Telerín y Don Gato y su Pandilla. Y a Él Tipo Gigio.

Here in Venezuela, this group's songs were a huge hit on radio and TV. It's very fitting to sing it now, as we're in the middle of school vacation in Venezuela, although the financial means to go to the beach, even for just one day, are beyond the reach of most of the population.
The school year in Venezuela begins around September 15th and runs until around July 15th of the following year. Another peculiarity of that school year is the color of the students' shirts:
