Un sol inclemente me apabullaba. Saqué el paraguas del bolso y lo abrí. El alivio esperado no llegó.
Me dió la impresión que el sol se deslizaba debajo del paraguas porque no hubo diferencia de temperatura.
Dos profesores - uno a pie y el otro en bici - se encontraron y comenzaron a comentar el depósito recibido... no sé si hablaban del sueldo, de las vacaciones o de algún bono, pero frases como "En lugar de mejorarnos, nos desmejoran" y otras de sentido similar firmaban el esquema principal de la conversación.

Un chico de chemise azul rayada por todos lados con nombres y frases de amigos - indicador de que había terminado ya el ciclo básico - los tres primeros años de Bachillerato - y había sido promovido al cuarto año - en el que la camisa del uniforme es color beige - saludó al de a pie con afecto : - Hola, profe. Se dieron la mano. - Hola, nos vemos en cuarto año ¡Mosca que voy con todo! ¡Voy durísimo! Esto me hizo pensar que posiblemente fuera profesor de una de "las tres Marías" - matemáticas, física o química -.
Rieron y el chico siguió su camino.

Luego de haberse ido el chico, los profesores continuaron su charla, esta vez comentando el caso de una profesora que había recibido 120 el año anterior y en este solo recibió 86 (Me imagino que se referían a dólares)
A uno de ellos se le salió una mala palabra, entonces repararon en mi presencia cercana.
- Disculpe, señora.
- -No se preocupe, hijo, ya es un sentimiento nacional.

Cambiaron de conversación y el de la bici comentó que venía al centro a comprar alimento para sus gallinas ponedoras. Que había comenzado con dos y ahora tenía cuatro.
La conversación se fue por los derroteros de los beneficios de la cría de gallinas ponedoras y... bueno, gracias a ese encuentro amistoso, yo tuve la oportunidad de tomar las fotos con las que participaré está semana.

A relentless sun beat down on me. I took my umbrella out of my bag and opened it. The expected relief didn't come.
It seemed to me that the sun was slipping under the umbrella because there was no difference in temperature.
Two teachers—one on foot and the other on a bike—met and started discussing the deposit they'd received... I don't know if they were talking about their salaries, vacations, or some kind of bonus, but phrases like "Instead of improving things for us, they're making them worse" and others of a similar nature formed the main outline of the conversation.

A boy in a blue shirt striped all over with names and phrases from friends—an indication that he had already finished the basic cycle (the first three years of high school) and had been promoted to the fourth year (where the uniform shirt is beige)—greeted the man on foot warmly: "Hi, teacher." They shook hands.
"Hi, see you in fourth year! Watch out, I'm going all out! I'm going to be really tough!" This made me think that he was possibly a teacher of one of "the three Marys"—math, physics, or chemistry.
They laughed, and the boy continued on his way.

After the boy left, the teachers continued their conversation, this time discussing the case of a teacher who had received 120 the previous year and only 86 this year.
(I imagine they were referring to dollars)
One of them let slip a swear word, and then they noticed me nearby.
"Excuse me, ma'am."
"Don't worry, son, it's a national sentiment."

They changed the subject, and the man on the bike mentioned he was downtown to buy feed for his laying hens. He'd started with two and now had four.
The conversation drifted to the benefits of raising laying hens, and... well, thanks to that friendly encounter, I had the opportunity to take the photos I'll be sharing this week.
