Tokenized Gold Is a $4.4B Market With No EU Rulebook

Two years ago, MiCA created a category for gold-backed tokens (asset-referenced tokens). Approved so far: zero.
Meanwhile PAXG and Tether Gold combine for $4.4B in market cap — trading entirely outside the rulebook written for them. Issuers route around the gap instead: Paxos maintains EU compliance through its Finnish entity under FIN-FSA, even as PAXG itself stays unavailable to EU users on the product level.
SDA took a different path. We're MiCA Article 6-native under FIN-FSA from day one — not a workaround stitched on after the fact.
