Pepsini: Hunting wasp (ENG - SPN)

Greetings to everyone; I hope health, happiness, joy, and prosperity are present in your lives. Today, I want to share two photos I managed to take of an elusive insect that I have been seeing more and more frequently on my property. Although I have spotted it on several occasions, it is very difficult to photograph because it flies away rapidly the moment I get close.

Hoy quiero compartirle dos fotos, que pude tomar a un elusivo insecto que he visto cada día con más frecuencia en mi solar. Aun cuando lo he podido divisar en varias ocasiones, es muy difícil fotografiarlo, porque apenas me acerco huye volando muy rápidamente.

I started seeing these insects in this area of my house late last year, and they have remained there. Since I had no idea what kind of insect it was, I looked it up online using Google Lens and discovered it is a wasp; to be honest, it is quite difficult to identify the typical wasp characteristics because it flies very fast and doesn't stay still. According to the information I found, this specimen belongs to the tribe Pepsini and is commonly known as the "horse-killing wasp" —a name derived from the fact that its sting is excruciatingly painful, leading to the belief that it can kill a horse, though that strikes me as an exaggeration.
> Estos insectos los comencé a ver en esta área de mi casa, desde finales del año pasado, y se han mantenido allí. Como no tenía idea de qué tipo de insecto es, hice revisión en Internet, con Google Lens, y encontré que es una avispa, y para ser franca es bien difícil identificar las características comunes a las avispas, porque vuela muy rápido y no se mantiene quieto. Según la información que encontré, este espécimen corresponde a la tribu Pepsini , y creo que le dicen Avispa mata caballos , y ese nombre se debe a que su ponzoña es sumamente dolorosa, al punto que existe la creencia que puede matar a un caballo, lo que me parece una exageración.

According to the information I found, this wasp has the ability to immobilize large spiders—specifically tarantulas—which it then drags away and injects with an egg. The egg later hatches, and larvae emerge to feed on the living spider without damaging vital organs; consequently, the poor spider suffers a slow, painful death, unable to move, flee, or defend itself. It is cruel, but that is how it works.
> Según la información que encontré, esta avispa tiene la capacidad de inmovilizar a arañas grandes, más exactamente tarántulas, las cuales luego arrastra e inocula con un huevo. El huevo eclosiona posteriormente, y surgen larvas que se alimentan de la araña viva, sin tocar estructuras vitales, por lo que la pobre araña sufre una muerte lenta y dolorosa sin poder moverse, huir o defenderse. Es algo cruel, pero así funciona.

This species has a very wide global distribution, occurring on several continents, including the Americas. In terms of behavior, it is an elusive, shy animal that avoids human contact; knowing it is a venomous wasp, I will try to stay as far away as possible—I have no desire to experience a sting of that kind.
> La distribución de esta especie en el planeta es muy amplia, estando presente en diversos continentes, incluyendo a América. Desde un punto de vista del comportamiento, es un animal elusivo, tímido, que evita el contacto humano, y ya que sé que se trata de una avispa con ponzoña, procuraré mantenerme lo más lejos posible, no quiero experimentar una picadura de ese tipo.
