Recent Updates & Fixes 🚧🛹
Today we shipped a set of important improvements across SkateHive:
✅ Bounty winner announcements - Added automated winner announcements after bounty rewards are processed. - Post flow now targets the correct Snaps container (homepage feed behavior). - Added graceful fallback so reward distribution is not blocked if posting fails.
✅ Upload pipeline hardening - Added upload proxy route to mitigate client-side CORS issues. - Added better file-size validation and clearer upload errors. - Improved fallback behavior and logs for faster debugging.
✅ Docs + i18n improvements - Major documentation cleanup for readability. - Expanded translations (pt-BR + es completed, fr + lg placeholders). - Navigation and build config adjusted for multilingual docs.
✅ Posting service consolidation (in progress) - Started consolidating feed posting in skatehive-api for reuse across services. - Added internal post/delete endpoints with alias-based accounts.
We hit some rough edges during testing, but this is now moving in a cleaner direction with less duplication and better reliability.
