For the sake of money

The topic of selling organs- I mean, one's personal organ to make money and to be able to eat or have a comfortable life(I don't know how comfortable life might be after that) is what I have been hearing for a long time, and I don't usually give it a thought because it's sickening to think about. Yesterday, while scrolling on Instagram, I came across a video of one of the activists in Nigeria buttressing this topic with a fresh situation. I wanted to wave it off, but I said, let me watch the long video to see what he has to show the world. He continued in the video, pointing to a situation where a guy was lured to the hospital and his kidney was removed. The police went to know the case; they swung into action to trace and arrest the friends who lured the guy, only to see that the friends' kidneys had always been removed. At this point, I couldn't just continue watching; my mental health was practically wavering, and I saw myself hitting my head with my left hand because a headache popped up at that moment.

How can people live on after doing such a thing? This has been my thought. Although people say life is all about survival at all costs, is this cost worth it? If such an operation was done to save someone's life, such as donating a kidney to a loved one who needs a kidney transplant to survive, that is very understandable, but the idea of intentionally selling off one kidney to get the money and live life is so evil, as a perceived it. No doubt, some people's minds have been made up to do anything at all to make money, so things like this, especially the aftermath, do not bother them. This made-up mind could be a result of the hardship they've faced in life and also due to how society has positioned the survival pressure to be on a high note. We, as humans, need to take things easy and behave as humans.
