For the month of August we started out with a credit of $69k toward the August expenses, which is more than the $62k needed.
20k USDC was used to begin the token buyback program in accordance with the restructuring proposal.
We have a current credit of $109,490 towards paying for the $60,000 needed to cover Septembers expenses, meaning we are still nearly $50k to the good after accounting for the $20k already used to buy back tokens and assuming we use $60k of it to pay for September.
We have a net outflow of 320m DEC after accounting for the very limited DEC revenue (no major sale) and including the buyback tokens transferred to the DAO. With the current DEC holdings of roughly 550m in the SPS.DAO account and 212m in the CREDITS.FOR.DEC account we shouldn't run out too quickly, but the buybacks may need to be more aggressive to keep pace.
It's clear that without a large sales driver (pack sale) we have a major DEC outflow from the CREDITS.FOR.DEC conversions. The positive price action on the token likely indicates that more of that DEC is remaining within our ecosystem than being sold for value removal. The higher the token price goes, the less DEC is required for the same dollar amount of CREDITS.FOR.DEC conversions.
