For all of you who don't know, Carlos Sainz jr (F1 driver for Williiams F1 team) has a father with the same name who is a twice WRC champion (1990 and 1992).
Well, the senior had some more chances to become more then twice a champ but never achieved 3rd title.
In 1995, there was an epic battle between him and legendary Colin McRae at the last event of the season - RAC Rally GB, where Colin managed to win his only WRC crown. There is a video of that battle, so please enjoy it...
