Report on Solar Power Generation: June 2026

Greetings, everyone!
I planned to keep a monthly log with data from powering my home with DIY solar. Unfortunate, something bad happened with the communication of my micro-inverter, and there was no way to communicate with it. It was still getting electricity in my house as I've seen it on the size of the monthly bill, but there's no way to tell how much it was.
Meanwhile I've dropped more from my savings into it, and I bought four EcoFlow Stream batteries of different types (each with a storage capacity of 1.92 kWh), a smart meter, and a second 610 W Canadian Solar panel.
The two panels are now connected to a Stream Pro, which makes it a bit more efficient than in the past as this battery gets charged directly from the DC voltage of the panels.
Being more independent from the grid, gave me a better negotiation position with my supplier, and I've got a decrease on the electricity price from 0.31 €/kWh, down to 0.21 €/kWh.

With more free energy available now, I also went and installed an Smart Air Conditioner, which can run completely out of a Stream battery. And yes, this is a new level of confort, especially for the hot summer.

Fun fact: My investment in renewable energy for my home earned me a 50% discount on the property tax of the house. Super cool!
