Human separated themselves from God and since then sin have become part of this world at the same time death also entered the world. When Adam and Eve disobeyed God, sin brought death into the world, and every person became subject to it. Death therefore reminds us of the seriousness of sin and the brokenness of creation.
When someone dies that's not the end, because God promised us eternal life when we die. Jesus Christ came to defeat sin and death and to offer eternal life to those who believe in Him.
