Greetings! I hope you all had a great Monday, so I’d like to wish you a wonderful Tuesday, full of positive energy and moments worth sharing. Yesterday was a slow and peaceful day at work—one of those days when everything flows without a rush and nature seems to accompany every step. We had to head to Pedro González to carry out our work routine at the Sunsol Ecoland hotel, a place that’s now part of our regular itinerary and that always welcomes us with its own special charm. Since it’s a bit of a drive, we left home early, with a bright, radiant sun lighting up the entire route and allowing us to capture beautiful moments. For my husband and me, going to work—aside from being our responsibility—always turns into a beautiful journey. We’re nature lovers and enjoy every moment it gives us; that makes the day and the work much more pleasant, more bearable, and more our own. It’s nothing new for me to tell you how much I love nature and animals. In other posts, I’ve already told you about my flowers, my dogs, my chickens, my quails, my land tortoises, and even the birdbath we have at home. Our love for everything that lives, grows, and breathes is evident—even for the sound of the waves that so often accompanies us on our walks. This time, we took one of the paths we love so much, even though it isn’t the shortest route to our destination. It’s irresistibly beautiful because it’s close to the sea and the hills. Simplicio Rodríguez Avenue always treats us to a spectacular view of the Margarita Island coastline.
Saludos, espero que este lunes les haya ido muy bien, así que desde aquí les deseo un martes maravilloso, lleno de buenas energías y momentos que valgan la pena contar. Ayer mi día de trabajo fue pausado y tranquilo, de esos días donde todo fluye sin apuros y donde la naturaleza parece acompañar cada paso. Tuvimos que dirigirnos a Pedro González para realizar nuestra rutina de trabajo en el hotel Sunsol Ecoland, un lugar que ya forma parte de nuestros recorridos habituales y que siempre nos recibe con su encanto particular. Como nos queda un poco distante, salimos temprano de casa, con un sol bravo y radiante que iluminaba todo el camino y nos permitía capturar hermosos momentos. Para mi esposo y para mí, ir a trabajar, además de ser nuestra responsabilidad, siempre se convierte en un recorrido hermoso. Somos amantes de la naturaleza y disfrutamos cada instante que ella nos regala; eso hace que el día y el trabajo se vuelvan mucho más amenos, más llevaderos, más nuestros. No es novedad que les diga cuánto amo la naturaleza y los animales. En otras publicaciones ya les he contado sobre mis flores, mis perros, mis gallinas, mis codornices, mis tortugas de tierra y hasta el abrevadero para aves que tenemos en casa. Es evidente nuestro amor por todo lo que vive, crece y respira, incluso por el sonido de las olas que tantas veces nos acompaña en nuestros recorridos. En esta ocasión tomamos uno de los caminos que tanto nos gusta, aunque no sea el más corto hacia nuestro destino. Es irresistiblemente hermoso por estar cerca del mar y los cerros. La avenida Simplicio Rodríguez siempre nos regala una vista privilegiada del litoral costero de Isla Margarita.
You can come by every day, if you can, and you'll always see a different, beautiful, and radiant landscape. Even rainy days have their charm, because the mist blends with the blue of the sea and creates a scene that looks like something out of a painting.
Puedes pasar todos los días, si te es posible, y siempre verás un paisaje diferente, hermoso y radiante. Incluso los días lluviosos tienen su encanto, porque la neblina se mezcla con el azul del mar y crea una escena que parece sacada de una pintura.
I captured a few moments so you can see what my eyes see every time I walk down this avenue. Between the ocean and the hills, we walked the entire way, chatting and sharing stories. We always try to bring a smile to life, because that’s what it’s all about: seeing everything through the best possible lens, being grateful for what we have, and enjoying our surroundings.
Capturé algunos instantes para intentar que puedan ver lo que mis ojos ven cada vez que paso por esta avenida. Entre mar y los cerros fuimos recorriendo todo el camino, conversando y echando algunos cuentos. Siempre tratamos de darle una sonrisa a la vida, porque de eso se trata; de ver todo con el mejor cristal posible, de agradecer lo que tenemos y de disfrutar lo que nos rodea.
We arrived at our destination, the Sunsol Ecoland Hotel, where we were warmly welcomed, as usual.
Llegamos a nuestro destino, el hotel Sunsol Ecoland, donde fuimos bien recibidos como de costumbre.
We went to the main tank to carry out our chlorination and disinfection routine, carefully checking each parameter and making sure everything was in order. Then we took a quick tour of the hotel to make sure everything was working properly, and afterward we left, satisfied with the work we had done.
Pasamos al tanque principal para realizar nuestra rutina de clorado y desinfección, revisando cada parámetro con calma y asegurándonos de que todo estuviera en orden. Luego dimos un pequeño recorrido por el hotel, observando que todo funcionara debidamente, y después nos retiramos satisfechos por el trabajo realizado.
We took the Portachuelo route on our way back, bidding farewell to the town of Gómez as the sun began to set and the hills stretched out along the road. It was a simple day’s work, but a very beautiful one thanks to all that nature had to offer.
Nuestro camino de regreso lo hicimos por vía Portachuelo, despidiéndonos del municipio Gómez mientras el sol comenzaba a bajar y los cerros se alargaban sobre la carretera. Fue un día de trabajo sencillo, pero muy hermoso por todo lo que la naturaleza nos regaló.
