Superhuman Day is celebrated every September 7th. This day pays tribute to people with disabilities who constantly overcome the challenges they face. The likelihood of an average person developing a disability is steadily increasing. This can result from accidents, but also from heart disease, cancer, back injuries, and other ailments. This day should be celebrated not only by people with disabilities but by everyone.

Las probabilidades de que una persona promedio desarrolle una discapacidad aumentan constantemente. The origins of the Paralympic Games date back to the 1940s, when a group of British World War II veterans with spinal cord injuries organized the first competition for athletes with disabilities. However, it was not until 1960 that the first "official" Paralympic Games were held. This event featured 400 athletes from 23 countries. Since then, it has been held every four years and has become the largest sporting event for athletes with disabilities. This celebration was created in 2016 by the television channel Channel 4.

This holiday was created to highlight the athletes who participated in the Summer Paralympic Games. Additionally, a media campaign was launched to recognize these athletes and their achievements. Although this holiday was initially intended to be a one-time celebration for 2016, it has been observed every year since as a day to honor those who have faced adversity and emerged stronger.

Family Time!
Well hey there, did ya miss us? We missed you! So much, in fact, that we have rescheduled our 'Family Time' to Fridays and we hope to see you there! Join our lovely band of outcasts, normies, goofballs, pimps, degenerates, professionals and all things within and without and betwixt and between starting 6 pm CST/ 7 pm EST. We always try to have a little fun and and if you're paying attention, a few smiles might just be shared. We like to smile. We like to laugh. We realize that life isn't all about the important things like #politics, #religion and #sex, no, it's about the time spent, the experiences had and memories made. Memories get passed on, experiences are shared and time - time is the currency we spend to acquire them.

Sometimes, giant insects attack the microphones and we have to get out our silly swatters and smack 'em up so we have something to snack on because the popcorn got eaten already by little slugs that left slimy trails everywhere and made the sidewalks slippery so that the pancakes didn't get enough traction on our canoes to steer the spaceships. Exactly.
