Universal Woman & LOH Sixth Anniversary!

The LadiesOfHive community is composed of beautiful women (and a few compassionate gentlemen, too!) . We come from countries and cultures all over the globe. I try to be sensitive to this fact whenever I am choosing images for our weekly contest and my curation comments. It is important to me that the images reflect, as best as possible, the individuals that make our community the strong, diverse melting-pot that it is.
One such example is shown below, where I instructed Copilot™ to include a woman from an Hispanic culture, an Asian culture, an African culture, and a Caucasian culture. Different skin, different hair, different eyes, different lips, different sizes, different hearts... All are beautiful, and all of us together make LadiesOfHive a lovely community!

Then, I became curious about something. 🤔 I asked Copilot™: "could the portrait of one woman be constructed so it is difficult, if not impossible, to determine her race? maybe a melding of all the world's cultures into one beautiful woman?"
I was astounded when the AI image generator returned this:
She is gorgeous! 😍 She bears the similarities and accoutrements of many different races and cultures, like the melding of women from all around the globe into one strikingly beautiful Being. Copilot™ and I decided to call this lovely archetype by the name " Universal Woman ."
Sure, she is not perfect, but who of us is? Perhaps her skin could be a little darker... perhaps her eyes could be more brown than hazel... perhaps her lips could be smaller? or bigger? perhaps this ... perhaps that ... Which brings us to yet another thing Universal Woman carries in common with the rest of us: while she embodies attributes from many different cultures and ethnicities, she isn't "perfect" — as there's no such all-embracing thing as absolute perfection. And strangely, none of us are "perfect" yet each of us is "perfect" in our own way . 😊
Then, Copilot™ offered to render the image again, showing her surrounded by subtle motifs from different continents (lotus, sun, spiral, feather, wave, etc.) to deepen the “unity of the world” theme. I thought that sounded like a wonderful idea, so I told it to proceed with that enhanced image. It came up with the following, which included a faint celestial glow.
I also wanted a version of her in more of a 16:9 ratio, so I asked Copilot™ to regenerate in that aspect ratio, and the following image was produced. I'm not sure why, but Copilot™ always outputs 16:9 requests as 3:2, instead, but whatever, close enough, I suppose... 😆
I love this so much! I think Universal Woman is the stunning epitome of what LadiesOfHive stands for — the sweet feminine voices from all over the globe, singing in harmony with one another! The bodies our souls inhabit are different and the aspects of our lives are different in many respects, but we share more in common than those differences belie. 💗
And with Universal Woman locked in our minds, why am I unveiling her now instead of when she was created several weeks ago? Because...
September 6 th , 2026 is the SIXTH ANNIVERSARY of the LadiesOfHive community! 🎉
I cannot think how to best express the joy this dear community provides to me. I am very grateful that @silversaver888 asked me to play a big role in helping to create this space on Hive and Discord. It was a lot of work setting up this space and remains so in keeping it going on a regular basis, but it is well worth it when I read the lovely things the participants have to say about it! Being a part of LadiesOfHive gives me an immense amount of pride and comfort. 💗

We also happily welcome the voices of gentlemen who are respectful and compassionate to the rights and issues of women. Most participants in the community have honored the space we created for those voices, and that is appreciated, tremendously! Thank you! 💖
Occasionally, though, our beloved space has been compromised by lazy "authors" who use AI-writing instead of their human voices, sadly. Please do not use our space in that way, and please call it to our attention when you see it. 😢
Like a beautiful timepiece, our community is wonderfully fabricated from fine materials that fit together into a marvelous whole. Our Moderators — both past and present — have expended countless hours devising questions (writing prompts), reading dozens of post each week, and carefully choosing the winners. That is tens-of-thousands of posts over our six-year run, and quite a few hours each week by those who generously volunteer their time! We thank the Moderators from the bottoms of our hearts! Without our devoted members, though, there would be no posts to read, so thank you all for your dedication to our precious community page!
