‎Can Chelsea Finally Crack Arsenal’s Defence?

‎ ‎As a Chelsea fan, I have to admit that Arsenal’s start to the season has been impressive. Two games, two clean sheets and hardly any serious chances allowed. Their defence already looks like one of the biggest reasons they could be challenging for another Premier League title. ‎ https://img.leopedia.io/DQmc7SC9cBXW7XjfiUYeCjAnXoY2JueTXqEmQqaLj4MPXQK/skysports-premier-league-arsenal7336356.jpg

The attack looks more confident, more direct and, at times, genuinely exciting. ‎ ‎Of course, Arsenal are a completely different test. They have shown that they can make life extremely difficult for opponents, and David Raya has barely had to work so far. That deserves respect. ‎ ‎But as a Chelsea supporter, I am not going into this game expecting us to sit back and simply admire Arsenal's defending. I want to see us test them and not lose focus in defence because our defence is a sht right now. ‎ ‎Morgan Rogers is one player I will be watching closely. His start to life at Chelsea has been encouraging, and I like the confidence he brings when he receives the ball and drives at defenders. The fact that Arsenal were also interested in him makes this fixture even more interesting. ‎ ‎Then there is Cole Palmer and João Pedro. If those three can find the spaces between Arsenal's midfield and defence, Chelsea could cause some problems. ‎ ‎What I particularly want to see is whether Chelsea can remain brave when Arsenal try to control the game. It is easy to attack freely against teams that leave plenty of space, but Arsenal don't usually give you that luxury. ‎ ‎This is where I think Xabi Alonso's tactics will be important. Chelsea don't necessarily need to dominate possession even though we can't against Arsenal that fully loaded in midfield. Sometimes it could be more about being quick when the opportunity comes, moving the ball forward with purpose and making Arsenal defend situations they haven't faced yet this season. ‎ ‎I'm not going to pretend Arsenal don't have the advantage at home. Yes they do and their defensive record and recent results against Chelsea give them plenty of confidence. Chelsea have also had their own defensive problems, so this could become a very interesting battle. ‎ ‎But as a fan, I am feeling positive. ‎ ‎I don't necessarily expect Chelsea to walk into the Emirates and dominate Arsenal. What I want is to see character, confidence and a willingness to attack. ‎ ‎If our front three can bring the same energy and creativity they have shown in the opening games, I believe they can finally ask some serious questions of this Arsenal defence. ‎ ‎For me, this is the real test: Arsenal have shown they can keep teams out. Now let's see if Chelsea can be the team that finally breaks through. ‎ ‎Come on, Chelsea! 💙 ‎
