Hello Hives, Sometimes I sit back and wonder if I am really making progress in life. I think a lot of us have moments like that. You work hard. You try to improve yourself. You make plans and hope things will get better. But after some time, you look around and feel like nothing has really changed. Then you see someone else buying a new car, getting a better job, starting a successful business, building a house, or achieving something you have been wishing for. But the more I think about it, the more I realize that progress is not always something we can show people. Sometimes, progress is simply not giving up. There are days when getting out of bed and facing another difficult day is already an achievement. There are times when you don't have much money, things are not working according to plan, and you still decide to keep trying. Nobody may notice that. Nobody may clap for you. But you know how difficult it was to keep going. I have also learned that we can get inspiration from other people, and there is nothing wrong with that. Seeing someone succeed can give us the motivation to believe that we can also do something meaningful with our own lives. But inspiration alone won't do the work for us. Someone can inspire you today, but tomorrow, you are the one who has to wake up and continue. That is where determination comes in. Nobody can be determined for you. People can encourage you. Friends and family can support you. Someone might even give you an opportunity. But when things become difficult, the decision to continue is still yours. And sometimes, continuing doesn't mean doing something huge. It could be learning something new. It could be trying again after failing. It could be saving a small amount of money. It could be working on your business even when customers are not coming. It could simply be telling yourself, “I have not reached where I want to be yet, but I won't stop here.” We should not always compare our chapter one to somebody else's chapter ten. Everyone has a different journey. So, if your progress feels slow right now, don't automatically assume that you are failing. Maybe you are making progress in ways that are not obvious yet. Keep taking those little steps. Keep learning. Keep trying. And most importantly, don't give up on yourself.
