Marriage is when two persons come together to form a strong bond as husband and wife, but if one person dies, the bond also dies. Apostle Paul teaches us in the bible, that a married person is bound to the spouse while the spouse is alive, but death releases the person from that marriage. Therefore, a widow or widower may choose to marry again without being considered unfaithful to the deceased spouse.
If you want to remarry do it diligently and pray that God gives you a partner that is responsible and prayerful . The Bible encourages believers to marry in a way that honors God, especially by choosing a spouse who shares their faith and commitment to Christ. While grief and memories of the former spouse may remain, a new marriage can be entered with gratitude, purity, love, and respect. The decision should not be rushed but should be guided by prayer, wisdom, and a desire to build a God-honoring relationship.
