Señoras y señores, hoy tuvimos un día súper largo y, bueno, nada de lo planificado salió. Sin embargo, pudimos resolver algo importantísimo: arreglar el techo de nuestro hogar.
Desde hace un tiempo, la placa de nuestra casa venía presentando goteras que habían sido corregidas hace 6 años y, bueno, literalmente ya tocaba darle mantenimiento a todo esto. Para el tiempo del terremoto, digamos que todo empeoró de una manera bastante preocupante, por lo que mi mamá decidió llamar a esta persona que ya había trabajado antes con nosotros para ayudarnos con este tema.
La solución ha sido colocar petróleo líquido. No sé qué tantos ingredientes tenga, sé que es algo preparado, pero aquella vez nos funcionó muy bien, así que decidimos confiar nuevamente en él. Ahora solo queda esperar la lluvia. Estábamos ansiosas de que lloviera y, literalmente, no cayó ni una sola gota.
Así que bueno, amanecimos en las alturas viendo cómo usaban todo ese producto en el techo y esperando que esto realmente funcione. Ya en unos días les contaré qué tal nos fue. En Venezuela ahora llueve a diario, pero justo hoy que estábamos esperando la lluvia, no llovió. Cositas que pasan.

Ladies and gentlemen, today was a super long day and, well, nothing went as planned. However, we were able to solve something extremely important: fixing the roof of our home.
For a while now, the concrete roof of our house had been leaking—issues that had been fixed 6 years ago—and, well, it was literally time to give it some maintenance. Around the time of the earthquake, let's just say everything got worryingly worse, so my mom decided to call the person who had worked with us before to help us out with this.
The solution was to apply liquid petroleum. I'm not sure what ingredients it has—I know it's a special mixture—but it worked really well for us back then, so we decided to trust him again. Now, all that's left is to wait for the rain. We were so eager for it to rain, and literally, not a single drop fell.
So well, we woke up high up on the roof, watching them apply all that product and hoping it really works. In a few days, I'll let you know how it went. It rains daily in Venezuela right now, but today, when we were actually waiting for it, it didn't rain at all. Just one of those things! Sending everyone a huge hug and the best vibes.
