All Xbox consoles sold out in the official Xbox store. RAMageddon hitting consoles and gaming industry?

Um die Verfügbarkeit von PS5 und Xbox Series X-Konsolen war es seit dem Launch nie besonders gut bestellt, vor allem auf der Xbox Series X-Seite wurden die verfügbaren Konsolen immer von Resellern (Scalpern) aufgekauft, um sie dann teurer auf ebay zu verkaufen.
Auch 6 Jahre nach dem Launch ist es nicht möglich im offiziellen Microsoft Store eine Xbox Series S oder X zu kaufen, in den USA werden im offiziellen Store hauptsächlich generalüberholte Retourware verkauft. Heftig.
Diesmal könnte aber auch der KI-Boom (RAMageddon) dafür verantwortlich sein, Speicher und GPUs werden immer teurer, was auch die Produktionskosten von 6 Jahre alter Konsolen-Hardware verteuert.
Eine neue Xbox Series X 1TB Digital Edition White, das einzige nicht generalüberholte Modell, das im Microsoft US Store verfügbar ist, kostet mittlerweile schon $749, im offiiellen Store noch vor Resellern.
Eine neue Konsolen-Generation ist auch nicht in Sicht bzw. wird immer weiter nach hinten verschoben.
Denke, dass der KI-Boom und RAMageddon auch ein großes Problem für die Gaming-Industrie darstellen, Gamer können sich zunehmend aktuelle Hardware nicht mehr leisten, das bremst auch die Entwicklung moderner Games ein, da Gamer immer länger auf alter Hardware zocken und wegen der hohen Preise nicht mehr upgraden können.
Was sagt ihr zur dieser Entwicklung? Denkt ihr, wird sich die Situation für Gamer noch weiter verschlimmern, GPUs und Konsolen noch teurer oder nicht mehr verfügbar werden?

Availability of PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles has never been particularly good since their launch, especially on the Xbox Series X side, where available consoles were always snapped up by resellers (scalpers) to be sold at a higher price on eBay.
Even six years after launch, it’s still not possible to buy an Xbox Series S or X from the official Microsoft store (in Austria), in the U.S., the official store mainly sells refurbished returned units. That’s crazy.
This time, however, the AI boom (RAMageddon) could be to blame, memory and GPUs are getting more and more expensive, which is also driving up the production costs of six-year-old console hardware.
A new Xbox Series X 1TB Digital Edition White, the only non-refurbished model available in the Microsoft US Store, now costs $749, even in the official store before resellers.
A new console generation isn’t in sight either, or, rather, it keeps getting pushed further and further back.
I think the AI boom and RAMageddon also pose a major problem for the gaming industry. Gamers are increasingly unable to afford the latest hardware, which also slows down the development of modern games, since gamers are playing on old hardware for longer and longer and can’t upgrade due to skyrocketing prices.
