En esta ocasión, comparto una serie de fotografías y hermosos paisajes que observé durante un viaje a la ciudad de Puerto la Cruz. Como he mencionado en publicaciones anteriores, este tramo de carretera es uno de los más bellos que he visto jamás; combina montañas, una vegetación exuberante y las impresionantes playas del oriente de Venezuela. A lo largo del camino, hicimos varias paradas para admirar el paisaje y la abundante flora local, que abarca desde arbustos y palmeras hasta hierbas y un hermoso manto vegetal que cubre la ladera de la montaña. Por lo general, los arbustos se encuentran a la orilla de la carretera o muy cerca de la playa. En cuanto al paisaje costero, las vistas son increíbles, con el hermoso azul del agua fundiéndose armoniosamente con el cielo. Cerca de la orilla también crecen hierbas con flores que a menudo se utilizan para la decoración del hogar y la artesanía.

This time, I am sharing a series of photographs and beautiful landscapes I observed during a trip to the city of Puerto la Cruz. As I have mentioned in previous posts, this stretch of road is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen; it combines mountains, lush vegetation, and the stunning beaches of eastern Venezuela. Along the way, we made several stops to admire the scenery and the abundant local flora—ranging from shrubs and palm trees to grasses and a beautiful carpet of vegetation covering the mountainside. The shrubs are generally found along the roadside or very close to the beach. As for the beach scenery, the views are incredible, with the beautiful blue water blending seamlessly into the sky. Near the shore, there are also grasses with flowers often used for home décor and handicrafts.
Más adelante, disfrutamos de una vista espectacular de la playa al amanecer, momento en que el aire adquiría un aspecto brumoso. Algunas de las playas cuentan con alojamientos y zonas privadas, ofreciendo a los visitantes privacidad y acceso directo al mar. Una de mis fotos favoritas captura la playa con la montaña de fondo y una franja de vegetación a lo largo de la orilla. En esta zona también hay casas situadas muy cerca de la playa; sus residentes son verdaderamente afortunados de vivir en una región costera con fácil acceso a las hermosas playas del Parque Nacional Mochima. Por su parte, la montaña ofrece un paisaje impresionante; suele estar cubierta de vegetación, aunque hay puntos donde se aprecian formaciones rocosas de color marrón claro.
Moving forward, we enjoyed a spectacular view of the beach at sunrise, which gave the air a misty quality. Some of the beaches feature accommodations and private areas, offering visitors seclusion and direct beach access. One of my favorite photos captures the beach with the mountain in the background and a trail of plants along the shore. There are also houses situated very close to the beach in this area; the residents are truly blessed to live in a coastal zone with easy access to the beautiful beaches of Mochima National Park. Meanwhile, the mountain itself offers stunning scenery; it is usually covered in vegetation, though there are spots where light-brown rock formations are visible.

Later, we stopped at a location that serves as both a transit stop and an access point to the beach. It is a concrete structure with benches, enclosed by wooden planks. From this spot—which also acts as a sort of lookout point—one can see the mountain and several houses nestled at its foot. The vegetation here is lush, covering much of the terrain. Finally, we have a view of the mountain and various homes at its base; the area is typically used for agriculture and tourism, given its proximity to the beach. Traveling this road and taking in the scenery was a wonderful adventure. Thank you for joining me.
