The ship-shaped building features blue benches around its perimeter and semicircular stairs leading to the ticket offices for boat and peñero (traditional small boat) trips to Mochima Park. When I arrived in town, I saw the sign and decided to go as soon as possible. The inn owner recommended taking a mototaxi from where the sign was to the beach. And that's what I did: the mototaxi charged me less than a dollar to get there and about $1.20 for the return trip. The ride takes about 10 minutes.
