Politics vs travel
This is the largest post this week, by @davideownzall:

But if you take a look at the comment scores of the two posts, @arsky wins. I believe that what the Threads algo wants from us: to be engagers. It gives us traffic and ask "please make your engager's work well, don't make me regret I believed in you". I just look at this from the general point of view: a social media platform with many likes and few comments looks dead, and it will never win one with many comments.
I had this thought that it might be that my cat account lost traction, as [my viral kitty note](https://images.hive.blog/p/FUkUE5bzkAZT3HzV5tJDiU2ik81PCd4JCyhWnRcDN8XJsVFY3UNB8DCfFvtgMSUozuJNH4NyDrZoFQiV5Hu2FnrKWMxFjj6pzQMXSpjhUbsPoK12CxWR7tYE7chYY9pNJDJE7jSKYdFf4yZmTXMgGe2VGBi3WpvjXCvi?format=match&mode=fit&width=1536) post didn't generate much engagement in the comments and I didn't answer most of the comments. So, Threads gifted me huge traffic, but I did my work as an engager badly.
And, in the meantime, @theworldaroundme's [blog](https://www.threads.com/@worlddigestjournal) without making super popular pots keep gathering subscribers. Another case to look at and draw conclusions.
