Beautiful Cool Summer Day!

Welcome back to my weekly 10k adventure where I crawl around this small northern town and spread the news. Starting off again at the crack of ass this morning, I was probably up as early as @davedickeyyall Beautiful cool morning and a matching sky.
Before I set out on my street workout, there was a coffee networking event with other local business owners, the mayor and probably the next mayor, in a fantastic local restaurant. Great start to the day.
I was thinking that I don’t feature enough local businesses as I visit so many of them every Thursday. So, here is one!
Www.stratfordcoffeecompany.com Awesome family run business that ethically sources beans right from the farmers and roasts them fresh. I don’t pay full price for much but coffee is one of them.
So great to be in the middle of the summer with cooler temps and beautiful clear skies with all the trees full and enjoying the breeze.
I never expected Mater to be such a popular part of my weekly adventure but I understand why. Today, he is happy as ever with his freshly shorn field of wheat/straw and a container he is apparently interested in selling.
More on the coffee theme, this downtown cafe sure is a hot spot. Having been here a bunch of years, I enjoy the mix of theatre performers, townies, carpet baggers, and tourists that keep this place hopping.
Downtown is probably as busy as it gets with theatre visitors and the nice boost in people from this province enjoying what we have. Still calm enough to jaywalk on the main street and take a picture in the middle.
Here we are again in the heart of downtown on the steps of city hall looking north. A slight breeze just after noon and not a cloud in the sky. Can't help but thinking we will have a long hot blast in the middle of August.
A thursday wouldn't be complete without an hour in the dog park so the little guy can run wild. Everyone gets their steps in and he must have the most fun doing his.
The paths through the forest are nice to walk but you have to keep moving to outrun the mosquitos that are mercifully moderate this year.
Perhaps his favourite part of the park, the kiddie pools are the best to splash into, lay down in and drink heartily. can't be mad at him when he emerges with a big smile and shakes the water onto me.
The sun has gone down on another big active outdoor northern adventure. I may not have the sunset capturing chops of @daveks or the Wednesday Walk cred of @tattoodjay but Hive lets us all play along.
