Mi Foto y su Historia 8: Colegio Nuestra Señora de Las Nieves.

En fotos se ve bellisima esta fachada, de este lugar, pero verlo en persona es aun mas bello.
Es uno de los colegios privados mas antiguos de la ciudad, que su primera sede fue en otro lugar, mas pequeño, hasta que hicieron este edificacion y es sumamente mas grande.
Esta es la parte principal, ahi vemos el nombre, que recuerde siempre nha sido en ese color, la iglesia al frente a un lado, las aulas estan en la parte interna, cuenta con un amplio estacionamiento.
Se llama asi en honor a la patrona de Ciudad Bolivar que es Nuestra Señora de Las Nieves, que resultase como ironico, porque aqui en mi ciudad, nieve nunca ha habido, pero si mucho sol,pero asi ha sido siempre.
En sus inicios fue solo y exclusivo para estududiantes hembras, desde primaria hasta bachiller, que pasaron muchos años, que ahora es un colegio mixto: hembras y varones.
Nunca he entrado mas alla del estacionamiento, son muy rigurosos en eso, que no entra cualquiera persona a menos que sea familiar de alguien que estudie o que trabaje ahi.
A donde si he entrado es al Teatro, porque hacia la parte de atras, con entrada por otro calle, esta el Teatro, el cual ha sido escenario para actos de ellos, pero tambien lo alquilan para actos de graduacion, actos culturales, como cine tambien. Aunque ultimamente no mucho, ya que en la ciudad ya hay otros espacios con mejores digamos acceso a la mismas.
Esta ubicado frente al aeropuerto de la ciudad, de como vemos las fotos es empezando la Avenida Tachira.

This facade looks beautiful in photos, but seeing it in person is even more stunning.
It’s one of the oldest private schools in the city. Its first location was elsewhere—a smaller one—until they built this much larger building.
This is the main section; there you can see the name—I don’t recall it ever having been that color—the church is across the street to one side, the classrooms are inside, and it has a large parking lot.
It’s named in honor of the patron saint of Ciudad Bolívar, Our Lady of the Snows, which is somewhat ironic because here in my city, it’s never snowed—though we do get plenty of sunshine—but that’s just how it’s always been.
In its early days, it was exclusively for female students, from elementary school through high school, for many years; now it’s a co-ed school: both girls and boys.
I’ve never gone past the parking lot—they’re very strict about that—and no one is allowed in unless they’re a family member of a student or an employee.
The one place I have been inside is the theater, because it’s located at the back of the campus—accessible via another street—and has served as a venue for school events, but it’s also rented out for graduation ceremonies, cultural events, and even movie screenings. Although that hasn’t happened much lately, since there are now other venues in the city with, let’s say, better access.
It’s located across from the city’s airport; as we can see in the photos, it’s at the beginning of Tachira Avenue.
