Fortalecimiento con un trote suave

Published on HivePostify by @gchacin25 · Tue Sep 01 2026

After two weeks away from the track, I decided to go back this morning. To be honest, I was really looking forward to running again, because I’m still recovering from some discomfort in my goose foot. Over the past few days, I’ve had to slow down and prioritize my recovery—something that isn’t always easy for those of us who enjoy running so much.

When I got to the track, I didn’t want to rush things. Before starting, I did some strengthening exercises focused on my knees and, especially, the goose foot area. I worked out calmly, paying attention to every movement and avoiding unnecessary strain. It was important for me to prepare my body properly and see how it responded after this two-week break.

Then I started with a 30-minute easy jog. For the first few minutes, my legs felt heavy. However, little by little, I found my rhythm. I didn’t worry about speed or distance. This time, the main goal was to feel comfortable again, enjoy the atmosphere at the stadium, and finish without pain.

As I jogged, I remembered that rest is also part of training. Sometimes we want to keep going despite discomfort, but listening to your body is essential to prevent an injury from getting worse. Today I wasn’t trying to prove anything; I simply wanted to take the first step back.

When I finished, I was satisfied with 30 minutes of light jogging, but for me, it meant a lot. I hope to continue making progress little by little, strengthening my knees and regaining my confidence. The journey is gradual, but the important thing is not to give up and to enjoy every kilometer.
