Hello, how are you? They said on the news that we should enjoy the sun today because in a few days it is going to rain again... but why is it gloomy again today?
I never thought before that you could cook papaya while still not ripe. At first I felt weird about but when I tasted it... not so bad. I got used to eating papaya when it's ripe, so this is new, but since we live on my mom's family side, I eat more veggies and fruits than I used to when I lived at my father's side.
This dish can feed the five of us, and if you're on a budget, this is a must-buy and must-cook on your weekly food plan.
----
Ingredients I Used:
1 tbsp. Cooking Oil Chicken Meat Garlic Red Onion Fish Sauce
1 1/2 cup Water Chicken Broth Cube Unripe Papaya Ground Pepper Malunggay Leaves
-----
Let's Cook!
In a hot pot, add 1 tablespoon cooking oil and then the meat of your choice. This time I use chicken breast and then cook it until cook to crispy.
-----
Add the aromatics like garlic and red onion, sautee it until the aroma comes out.
-----
Add two tablespoons of fish sauce and let that seep into the chicken.
-----
Add one and one-half cups of water, and then I added a chicken broth cube to add more flavor to the broth.
------
When it starts boiling. Add the unripe papaya. Cook it for about 5-8 minutes or until the texture of the papaya turns semi-transparent.
-----
Then I added just a dash of ground pepper. I almost forgot LOL.
-----
Add the Malunggay leaves after and cook it for about a minute.
-----
Serve hot and plated.
-----
Happy eating.

Thank you for visiting, see you on my next blog. :D Please take care of your mental health as well. I hope you are okay today :)) ----
