Hello, how are you? Sometimes having my parents at home is always a blessing in disguise. I can eat vegetables and home cook. Because when I'm alone at home, I don't ever cook. egg is enough for me LOL.
And the funny thing is there is no Monday that doesn't rain, but let's see tomorrow if that will happen again hehehe. I am going to cook patola with sotanghon today, and I am telling you this food is good. I suggest you try this. This is going to be on our weekly food from now on.
----
Ingredients I Used:
Cooking Oil Chicken Garlic Red Onion 1 tbsp. Fish Sauce
2 cups Hot Water Ground Pepper Chicken Broth Cube Patola Sotanghon
-----
Let's Cook!
In a hot pan, I added a tablespoon of cooking oil.
----
Add the chicken and cook it until crispy.
-----
Add the garlic and red onion sauteed it for about a minute or until the aroma comes out.
----
Add a tablespoon of fish sauce, let that seep into the chicken.
----
Add two cups of hot water because I am in a hurry. You can use room temperature water LOL. And add ground pepper and a chicken broth cube for umami flavor.
-----
Let the broth boil.
-----
Add the patola in.
----
And then add the sotanghon. Oh, make sure to soak the sotanghon in a bowl of water to avoid the noodles absorbing all the broth.
-----
And let it boil for about 2-3 minutes until the texture of the patola turns transparent. Do not overcook, because the sotanghon will completely absorb the broth.
-----
Serve hot and plated, and please make sure to eat it after cooking. Here is the close-up look at the food. Looks good.
-----
Happy eating, everybody! :D

Thank you for visiting, see you on my next blog. :D Please take care of your mental health as well. I hope you are okay today :)) ----
